About the role - maiData is currently seeking an experienced Software Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for working within a team to design, develop and implement our medical software solutions. > Work with our software architects to conceive and document software designs that will solve specific problems.
> Develop, implement and unit test those software designs.
> Work with our other developers to:
> > Integrate your software into our products.
> > Help test our products prior to release.
> Evaluate and help implement recommended tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product platforms
> Collaborate with developers, testers, quality, and service to produce cutting-edge software solutions that solve end-user problems and keep customers happy
> Translate business and end-user requirements into software product architectures, software designs, processes, and procedures
> Troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently
Candidate Requirements -
> Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
> 3-4 years of experience designing and developing software
> Proficient with Python, SQL and HTTP
> The following additional skills are desired:
> > DICOM, HL7, FHIR and IHE knowledge
> > Medical imaging, patient privacy and pseudonymization
> > Working within quality systems for medical devices
